Unlike simple inspection firms or ordinary home inspectors, all of Criterium’s inspections and evaluations are performed by or reviewed by licensed Professional Engineers (P.E.), with a P.E. on site at each residential structural inspection. In Tennessee, licensed P.E.’s are the only ones who can legally comment on the structural integrity of a building. As a result, Criterium can provide you with a level of accountability, professionalism, and value that sets it apart in the structural inspection industry. All Criterium building inspection services are performed in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers (NABIE). NABIE is a chartered affinity group of the National Society of Professional Engineers.
